Old Fort Western Encampment Schedule
At Water Street and Gows Lane, across from the Boat Landing
Note: all times are approximate

8:00 am Old Fort Western staff arrives and set up demonstrations (18th century games, sewing, inkle loom, quill & ink)

10:00 am Bateau leaves Williams Boat Landing in Augusta

11:00 am Basic Camp activities and cooking the noon meal.

11:30 am The bateau arrives and docks. Canons from the boat will announce their arrival.

12:00 pm Nooning (definition – an interval at noon for rest or food)

1:00 -3:00 pm Military demonstrations:

Signing muster roll with quill & ink
Drilling/marching with the public
Musket demonstration
Cannon Demonstration

Camp Demonstrations:

Cooking Demonstration
Weaving Demonstration
18th Century games

3:00 – 4:00pm Bateau demonstration (or when tide is right)
Manning the bateau
Returning to Old Fort Western/Williams Boat Landing
