Kids K Race will start after the Old Hallowell Day Road Race. This is a fun event for kids to experience the sport of running and discover their inner athlete! Same day registration is permitted! Cost is $5 per entry.
10am - 3pm - Old Hallowell Day Parade Flag and Fundraiser
Hallowell Antique Mall, 191 Water Street.
Introducing the inaugural Old Hallowell Day Parade Flag! This 9’ x 20’ beauty leads the parade down Water Street, inviting spectators to join in carrying this symbol of community pride. After the parade, stop by the Hallowell Antique Mall to personalize a fabric square for $5.00. Not only will the money raised go towards all future Old Hallowell Days, but these squares will be stitched onto the flag, creating a unique tapestry of community spirit. Spot your name on the flag in future Old Hallowell Day celebrations, a lasting connection to our vibrant community!

Get ready to dive into the aquatic adventure of the century with Old Hallowell Day’s latest extravaganza: the Sturgeon Search! Swing by the Old Hallowell Day Committee Information Booth to snag your exclusive Sturgeon Search sheet, then let the scavenger hunt commence! Wander through our downtown business windows, sleuthing for the elusive hidden sturgeon. Once you’ve tracked down each slippery swimmer, make a splash at the Hallowell Antique Mall where you’ll get to unleash your creativity and decorate your very own sturgeon to take home as the ultimate trophy! It’s a fin-tastic journey of discovery and craftiness that you won’t want to miss!

International-themed music, dancing, food, games and a scavenger hunt; what’s not to love? Join us for this annual event! All are welcome!
11am - 2pm - Climate Action Treasure Hunt
Organized by Hallowell Climate Action
Granite City Park, the base of Winthrop Street.
Children and youth, pick up your treasure hunt booklet at the Hallowell Climate Action table at Granite City Park. Answer three questions about how our community is addressing climate change to win a prize!
4pm - 7pm Face Painting
